The project's activities are briefly described below together with associated milestones and deliverables, work package by work package.
WP0: Agile management
We are experimenting with agile project management methods and practices in this project, in awareness that while this may have benefits for working at the science-policy interface, it will not necessarily be a neat fit. Nevertheless, the work in this project is predicated on an iterative process of prototyping deliverables and then updating them, a point reflected in the way activities are organized in other work packages. WP0 activities:
- Project meetings -- arrange and hold project start-up meeting (milestone M0.1), mid-term review (milestone M0.4), final workshop (milestone M0.7)
- Monitoring project metrics -- design and monitor project metrics
- Retrospectives, sprint reviews and sprint plans -- three-monthly sprint plans, with sprint reviews and retrospectives (milestones M0.2, M0.3, M0.5, M0.6
- Project activity reports -- position paper on agile management of large-scale modelling projects at the science-policy interface (deliverable D0.1); brief project summary report (deliverable D0.2).
WP1: Digital environment
